Thanks for a great show in my hometown Sligo. Crowd was small, but that's a common enough story.
Your notes were crisp, the singing superb. Loved your bluegrass version of John Prine's "Star Out of the Window" and the encore with Van Morrison's "Into The Mystic."
Next time you're doing a press releae in these parts mention 1970s Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span - even Los Lobos; it doesnt describe all of your music but it might push out the potential fan base.
Hope you return to Hawk's Well Sligo. Maybe make contact with the organisers of the SligoLive Festival, held each October, about maybe getting on a future bill. This year Orchestra Baobob from Senegal are the main act.
I already had some of your music from iTunes...but I dont see your "Tenure" album there with the John Prine version?
First came across your music on BBC TV in Northern Ireland after you played the Bronte Centre in Rathfriland. Saw you came to Sligo `after another show there last night.
Thanks to each of you for giving it 'everything' tonight. Loved the Mexican instruments. Love to hear a wee bit more onstage about the music of Veracruz.

I have watched you several times in the Gold Beach Area and really enjoyed your music. up the coast about 1 1/2 hours is coos bay, and we have a program every september call "music on the bay". it is a free outdoor concert series for the community. we have had some great groups come, but i think your group would be perfect for it. you can visit the website at musiconthebay.com to see the details. if you are remotely interested, check it out. i would love to see you here on the oregon coast again.
